Human Readable URLs
This feature adds convenience for online merchants and shoppers, but also assists with positioning items and categories with the search engines. Having the capability to quickly instruct shoppers to the exact spot within a website is one of those features often overlooked by online store systems. Most stores have long, cumbersome product URLs. The JK Store generates simple, logical website addresses for each category and item.

Unlimited Scalability of Products & Categories
The number of categories and products a merchant includes in the JK Store system is limited only by the store package selected. The JK Store system has been tested thoroughly with one merchant having over 77,000 items listed in the store! Whether a merchant is selling 5 items or 500,000 items the JK Store offers the perfect solution.

Multiple Categories for Items/Products
Sometimes products don't fit under just one category. Instead of adding the same product twice, the JK Store allows the merchant to select multiple categories for the product to display. For example, a store may categorize its jams, jellies, and syrup by type of berry, but may also want to organize those same products by the categories of jam, jelly, and syrup. The product is entered in one time and then categorized in multiple places within the store. This makes sure that shoppers will find what they are looking for and increases exposure for a product within the search engines.

User-Friendly Shopping Cart & Checkout
How many shoppers become discouraged at check-out and abandon their shopping cart? Having a simple, user-friendly checkout procedure is integral to making the sale and ensuring that shoppers return. The JK Store asks enough information to close the deal and streamlines the entire process — keeping shoppers happy and reducing the liklihood of abandoned shopping carts at check-out.

Interactive AJAX Interface
The JK Store interface offers an interactive engaging shopping experience. For example when an item is added to the cart, a progress bar informs the shopper that the item is being added and the shopping cart is updating. AJAX is also used to zoom in on product images and display item details. The interactive interface keeps shoppers engaged in the process and offers a clean, simple way to display product information.

Catalog Quick Order
Something every store needs is the ability to quickly shop for a product by the product code. The JK Store takes it a step further and displays an "add to cart" button next to the product. That way if a shopper knows exactly what they are looking for, they enter the product code and add the product to their cart. A link to the product details ensures that nothing is overlooked in the process. If a shopper is uncertain of the item displayed they can view the details.

Order Cloning
One of the slickest features of the store is the ability to duplicate orders. Shoppers login, pull up a recent order, and duplicate the order. The items and quantities of the original order are added to the shopping cart. The shopper can then modify the order and checkout.

Shipping Address Book
Maintaining a list of shipping addresses is another major time-saving feature. Shoppers enter the addresses into their address book and then at checkout select the shipping address.

Share Product Info with Friends
There's no better referral than one from a friend or family member. A simple forms allows shoppers to quickly send an email to a friend or family member to share a product in the store.

Customizable Store Search
Not all store searches are built equally... The JK Store's store search is as accurate as the information entered into the store, ensuring that shoppers can quickly find the products they are looking for in the store. Sounds simple, but many stores struggle to display accurate search results. In the JK Store, the product code, product title, and custom search field are processed in the search results.

Order & Shipment Tracking
A staple for any store is the ability to track order processing and obtain realtime shipping information. As an order is processed, merchants can enter in order processing information and shipment tracking codes. Email notifications are automatically sent out to shoppers from the system as their order status is updated.

Email Notification
Emails are sent out from the store to shoppers when they set up their account, change their password, place orders, and as orders are processed. Merchants receive an email as new orders are placed or if shoppers contact the merchant for more information.

Live Help
While browsing through the store, shoppers can click on "Live Help" to chat with the merchant. Set hours for support can be posted on the site. Shoppers can leave a message and their contact information if the live help attendant is unavailable.

Featured Products Display
Products in the store can be designated as sales items/featured products to display on the home page and the sales/featured products section in the store.

Promotional/Discount Code
Upon checkout, shoppers can enter promotional codes set up by the merchant to receive free shipping, a discount percentage, or a discount on a specific item.

Three Account Types: Consumer, Corporate Purchasing, Corporate Primary
The JK Store offers the ability to set up three different levels of shopping accounts. Consumer accounts have basic pricing. Merchants can establish corporate purchasing and primary accounts with adjusted pricing. Corporate primary accounts can add new purchasing accounts under their account that will receive the same pricing discounts as their account. These purchasing accounts can be set up to either charge orders to the corporate primary account and/or use their own credit card at checkout.

Corporate Purchasing Accounts
For accounts designated by the merchant as a corporate account, the corporate primary account manager can establish purchasing accounts. This enables tracking of all purchases for a corporate account by each purchasing account. The corporate primary account manager also has the capability of allowing the purchasing accounts to checkout using the primary account credit card on file or requiring each purchasing account to use their own credit card at checkout.

Corporate Discount Rate
Merchants can set a default discount rate for corporate accounts and then adjust it accordingly for each individual corporate account.

Optional Sales Tax for Corporate Accounts
This feature allows merchants to select "No Sales Tax" at checkout for their corporate and non-profit customers.

Corporate & Consumer Product Designation
This feature allows merchants to limit the display of an item to corporate stores only. As products are added to the store, by default they appear in both the consumer and corporate store. Once a corporate user is logged in, they are able to see both the general items and the corporate only items.

Turn-key Distributor/Reseller Store Setup
For merchants with multiple distributors, this feature is a life-saver. It literally takes less than 5 minutes to set up an entirely new store for a distributor. The merchant can set a default discount rate to be given to each distributor store. When creating a new distributor store, the discount rate can be adjusted and pricing for items in the distributor store can be set as an across the board discount percentage and/or by setting a discount percentage or fixed price for specific items. The merchant can also adjust the distributor's store inventory (including all items from the master store or select a few products from the master store to include in the new distributor store). As a distributor shops through the store, the regular price is displayed along with the special distributor's discounted price. In the shopping cart and at checkout, the distributor's savings are calculated and included in the order receipt.

Multiple Pricing Options: Fixed Price, Cost Plus, Discount Percentage
In the corporate and distributor stores, pricing can be set as fixed, cost plus, or as a discount percentage from the retail price.

Multiple Currency Options
For international merchants, the JK Store offers the ability to accept orders in different currencies. Shoppers can select their currency and all the prices in the store automatically adjust according to the selected currency. At checkout the order is processed in the selected currency. The merchant's bank must be capable of handle real time credit card processing in the various currencies.

Comprehensive Site Statistics
The JK Store includes detailed analysis of all site traffic: number of visitors, repeat traffic, time of day, time per visit, keywords used to find the site, traffic from the search engines, visitor technology platforms, entry/exit pages, comparison information from month to month, and much more. Keeping tabs on site traffic allows merchants to fine tune their product offerings.
